Fruits of the Spirit

22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.


Love - Deep affection and warm feeling for another.
               (Keeping the commandments of God).

Joy - Intense or elated happiness. To rejoice.

Peace - The absence of war or other hostilities.  Freedom from
                 quarrels and disagreement; harmony.

Longsuffering - patient; to endure.

Gentleness - To be considerate or kind.  Not harsh or
                             severe; soft, mild.  Easily managed or
                             handled; docile.

Goodness - The state or quality of being good.

Faith - Confident belief or trust in a person, idea, or thing.
               Secure belief in God and the acceptance of God's will.

Meekness - Showing patience and humility.  Submissive;

Temperance - Moderation and self restraint.



(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
reprove them.  For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
